Château des Milandes

Visible from the terrace of Maison Marie Louise lies the Château des Milandes - a renaissance castle with a special history.

From 1947 to 1969 this was home to Joséphine Baker, the legendary American singer and dancer who became a symbol of freedom and resistance. Today you can visit the castle, including a spectacular birds of prey show.
